Bring Your Grades Up! Boost Your Life!

Okay... So your grades are below C level and sinking fast (no pun intended), and you want to bring them all the way to the top, about A or B level or higher, and you want to keep them there. Bringing your marks from 0 to hero is not going to be easy, but, it is 100% possible and a lot of people have done it. You will need to work very hard and stay determined to travel the path to success. Here are the tips you need to get to the top of the class and impress everybody.

1) Wake up EARLY. Preferably 6:00 or early if you can. At this time get out your day planner or a workbook and write down what you will be doing the whole day. Plan out when you will do your homework when you will do your extra studies and when you will have your own free time.

2) When in school focus on your classes. During class DO NOT play with your cell phone or even talk to your friends, because that will distract you. Breaks are there for a reason. If your friends insist on talking to you, ask your teacher to move you to a place where you can focus.

3) As soon as you get home from school DO NOT go and sit in front of the T.V or your computer. Instead take out your books and review the notes you were given. Then take a break for about 20-30 minutes. After your break do your homework and finish it all. Then take another break for 30-45 minutes. After that break STUDY STUDY STUDY. Even though you are finished your homework, you have to study to keep all of that information in your brain. Take about 1-2 hours to do extra studying.

4) When you are done all that. RELAX. You are done for the day. But, go to sleep at around 11:00 so you can wake up early.

It will take a lot of motivation and hard work but, if you can do these tips, consider yourself set. You are a planned person, and your marks are guaranteed to be an A+ or a B.

Did you know that that mundane looking workstation has a beast lurking within? Yes, thats right, these workstations are built to last, and are built for power. What a lot of people don't know is that these machines can be transformed into powerful gaming rigs with just a few modifications while keeping their elegant and conservative looks. Many of these computers can take a full sized gaming video card, obscene amounts of advanced gaming RAM and lightning quick SSD drives to make for a very capable gaming desktop. Let build a system shall we?

Start with a Dell T7400 which comes with an Intel Xeon dual core CPU, an nVidia quadro video card and about 4GB of server RAM and a common SATA platter drive (parts vary). Now you can easily upgrade these parts listed, and these are the only parts you really need.

Start by getting yourself some Crucial DDR2 ECC RAM, 8GB is more than enough although you can potentially go up to 128GB (expensive and pointless).

Then get your self a good SSD drive, Samsung and Intel make good ones. You don't even need a really large capacity one, you just need something to install windows on and maybe some of your most favorite games, everything else can be stored on a secondary platter drive.

 Next you will want to get a quad core Intel Xeon CPU. A beastly 3+GHz CPU should do the trick. If you want to max out the board you can even go dual cpu's for an octo-core monster. Dual CPU's are where workstations really shine.

Now we don't want to forget the most important part of a gaming computer, and that is a gaming video/graphics card. Now because video cards are always getting better you can decide on new generations of video cards from AMD or nVidia and can't really go wrong. The Dell T7400 can take most video cards due to it having a very powerful power supply.

 Once you have completed these upgrades, boot up any game and enjoy. Make the ones with flashy cases jealous of this classy beast.

Got a Slow Computer? Use Defragmenter!

What is Windows Disk Defragmenter? 
The disk defragmenter that is supplied with the Windows Operating system is a very powerful tool that sorts the files on your computer, thus making it faster. For example, say you go to a library, and and the books are all in different places and not in a certain order, or say someone takes a book and later misplaces it on another shelf, obviously it will take you a long time, if not forever in a large library, to find the book you are looking for. That same way we can look at the files on your hard drive, each time you install or delete a file on your computer, fragments (pieces) of that file become scattered in different parts of your hard drive, and over time the files will be in so many different places that your computer will slow down trying to search for those files.

In order to speed up your computer you can use the disk defragmenter and it will arrange your files and sort them to efficiently look them up later. So lets start it up; Go to Start> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Disk Defragmenter. Once the program is open, click on the "Defragment" button and it will first analyze your hard drive and then it will automatically start the defragmenting process. This could take some time and it is recommended not to use your computer while it is defragmenting or it wont be able to properly optimize your system.

Once that is done restart your computer and notice the difference that a simple defrag can make. I recommend that you defrag your computer once a week to keep your computer running smoothly and efficiently.
